It’s January 2019. Nineteen years ago I thought the world was coming to an end for sure. I remember climbing onto the little bed in the makeshift bedroom/sunroom, my sister and I shared in my parents tiny flat in Hillbrow, certain I would not be ringing in the New Year in 2000. The millennium, two thousand whole years, and we were all just going to die. I have grown a little less paranoid since then (…very little) and I bid farewell to 2018 and welcomed 2019 in the beautiful city of Cape Town with my two favorite boys. We drank champagne (…at least the adults did) and we took a walk down the Promenade with our crystal glasses in hand, listening to the rumble of the ocean and wishing everyone we knew a very Happy 2019.
This year I did away with the traditional list of resolutions because I know I won’t keep at least half of them. Then I beat myself up about it as the year creeps to an end. Instead, I consciously intend to plan better, eat better and live better. I want to change the little things and hope for the best. I do know I have a lot of work to catch up on. I am currently getting over the holiday fever, despite my other half insisting that we take another ocean break at the end of the month. (…So tempting)
So what can you expect from me this year?
I am in a contemporary romance box set (…hush) with an author I deeply admire and respect. Dani Rene and I are writing together for the very first time, and I am beyond thrilled. Look out for the set mid 2019. That is all I can say about it. For now! Join my newsletter or follow me on any of the social media links below.

You can also look forward to thirteen interconnected standalone novels that will push your limits, test your one-handed reading technique, and take you into a suspenseful world where men are domineering and dangerous, and their female counterparts are feisty and strong.
Each story is standalone, and they do not have to be read in order. The first one releases in March this year. The Cavalieri Della Morte is a series loosely based on the Knights of the Round Table. Based in the modern day, these men are assassins for the Tabella Della Morte, and they’ll stop at nothing to complete the job, and get what they want.
Are you ready to take the ride with us?

I have so many words I need to get to my readers and I am going to bleed them out one at a time and have them in your hands this year. You can look forward to hearing a lot more from me in the months to come.
I wish you all of the things that bring a smile to your face and a flutter in the pit of your stomach. May your days be longer and more complete. May your naps be restful and your soul at peace. May 2019 bring you it all. Value the person in the mirror, value every flaw and acknowledge every strength.
Until next time.
